manhattan transformation via yellowpages, motion study

The first portion of my first project for Abstraction was completed on Monday, September 21, 2009 at approximately 7 AM after a night of stress, fun, general madness, cut fingers, architectural student camaraderie, and trying to live up to Madeline's standards. My concept/model is a study comparing the different motions -- mind, eye, finger, book -- that are required for a single mission or act: planning a party. I am now in the process of translating this concept to the Manhattan map, which is actually quite simple; except for the fact that my model has to be moveable and transformable, and everything I make has to be justified as being an integral part of my concept.
